Throughout more than 30 years of Ahavas Chesed, we received many letters from people who came to seek our help. With the writers’ permission we are happy to share with you such a letter.
Dear Rabbi Lider,
We would like to thank you and all the amazing volunteers of Ahavas Chesed so much, for everything you have done for us during our recent challenging time.
Even before we knew about my husband’s condition, you helped set us up with the necessary tests which led to a clear diagnosis, and eventually appropriate treatment and cure. Throughout the entire time of treatment you helped with arranging rides to and from the medical facility, the financial assistance was a tremendous relief, and in general you always showed such kindness and care, so gracefully and with such pleasure.
Thank you for always bring there for us. Knowing you were there definitely made this time a lot easier to cope with. May Hashem bentch you with only Gezunt, Mazal, Brocho, Hatzlocho and may we share in only happy occasions.

אפילו לפני שידענו מה מצבו המדויק של בעלי, סייעתם לקבוע עבורנו את הבדיקות הנכונות שהובילו לאיבחון ברור ובסופו של דבר – לטיפול הנכון ולהחלמה.
לאורך כל תקופת הטיפולים סייעתם לארגן עבורנו הסעות למחלקה הרפואית וממנה. התמיכה הכלכלית שהענקתם לנו נתנה רוגע מדהים ובאופן כללי הראיתם אכפתיות וטוב–לב באופן נעים וכן כל כך.
